The Event Coordinator is responsible for managing multiple events simultaneously, ensuring that each event is enjoyable, well-organized, and meets company standards for execution and customer satisfaction. This includes crafting activities, face painting, and party add-ons like goody bags and balloons, which enhance the celebratory atmosphere.

Operational duties such as truck unloading, merchandise stocking, and maintaining store recovery standards are also part of the position to support the overall store experience. The Event Coordinator must handle administrative tasks, communicate effectively with clients and team members, and adapt event plans based on feedback to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, enthusiastic, and skilled in interacting with guests of all ages, especially children. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, alongside retail or customer service experience. The role requires physical stamina, including standing for long periods, lifting and moving merchandise, and operating in various store environments, including some outdoor tasks.

Michaels is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming workplace where all Team Members can thrive. They offer a range of benefits to support the health and wellbeing of employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, tuition assistance, and generous employee discounts.
