The Parts Shipper/Receiver will work closely with various departments within the dealership to ensure timely fulfillment of parts orders to support both the counter staff and shop technicians.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for filling, packaging, and marking parts orders to meet delivery schedules, receiving ordered parts while inspecting them for damage and correctness, and assisting with stocking and posting orders to expedite delivery. They will also support parts drivers in loading and unloading parts, maintain the organization and cleanliness of the parts department, and assist with physical inventory counts. Additionally, this position requires handling core returns and proactive communication regarding stock levels to the Parts Manager.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve proactively. Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Forklift certification and experience using non-powered equipment like dollies, hand trucks, and pallet jacks are also essential for success in this position.

Inland Kenworth provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, prescription benefits, and retirement savings options such as a 401k with employer matching. Additional benefits include a flexible savings account, health savings accounts (depending on the medical program selected), long-term and short-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and ongoing training opportunities. This package reflects our commitment to supporting the health, financial security, and professional development of our team members.

Embarking on a career with Inland Kenworth means joining a robust team with upward mobility and the chance to grow in a flourishing industry.
