As a part of the larger Hendrick Automotive Group, which is one of the leading automotive retailers in the United States, Rick Hendrick Chevrolet offers a wide selection of Chevrolet vehicles, parts, and services to satisfy the needs of its diverse customer base. The dealership operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are paramount. The company culture emphasizes core values such as servant leadership, teamwork through trust and respect, integrity, commitment to customer enthusiasm, passion for winning, accountability, and continuous improvement. These values are deeply ingrained in the organization and are demonstrated by every member of the team.
The role of Parts Delivery Driver at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet is essential for ensuring efficient and timely transportation of parts and equipment within the dealership's operational framework. The primary responsibility of this position is to transport parts and equipment to various destinations including customers, vendors, and other company locations. This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities but calls for a dedicated individual who can maintain accuracy, safety, and professionalism throughout all delivery tasks. The Parts Delivery Driver operates company vehicles to pick up and deliver necessary items, ensuring customers receive the correct products at the right time. The role also requires maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environment while contributing to the overall Customer Service Index (CSI) standards.
This is a critical support position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to upholding company policies and safety regulations. The job demands physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds, moving parts, and navigating in and out of vehicles. Regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and some holidays are necessary due to the nature of the delivery schedule. The position provides an opportunity to work within a well-established automotive company that values its employees and provides ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance work performance. Candidates with prior delivery or warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills to operate the company’s timekeeping system are highly desirable for this role.
