Currently, LKQ is seeking motivated individuals to join its team in warehouse and salvage yard operations. The position involves varied tasks such as assisting walk-in customers, processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing, shipping, and managing inventory. Job Requirements

  • up to 1 year of work related experience
  • high school diploma/ged
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • basic computer skills
  • ability to communicate orally and write brief messages
  • able to follow clear directions and procedures
  • capable of performing physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds
  • able to work in varying temperature conditions and potentially hazardous environments
  • willingness to travel occasionally
  • able to wear personal protective equipment as required

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma/ged
  • prior warehouse or similar work environment experience
  • experience operating powered industrial trucks such as forklifts or order pickers
  • basic computer skills
  • ability to communicate brief messages orally and in writing
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • ability to follow standard procedures without decision making
  • able to use guidance provided by supervisors
  • capable of managing assignments and priorities given by supervisors

Job Duties

  • receive and put away inbound product to designated location
  • pick/pull correct product from the appropriate locations and delivering to staging area/delivery truck
  • operate manual/powered equipment to transport product in and about the warehouse
  • sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence
  • maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas
  • comply with established company policies and procedures
  • assumes other duties as assigned
