Learfield is a leading sports marketing and multimedia company specializing in collegiate sports properties. With a commitment to connecting brands with passionate fan bases, Learfield operates across numerous universities and athletic departments to deliver unparalleled marketing and sponsorship opportunities. The company’s innovative approach spans traditional, digital, and in-venue platforms to activate partnerships that boost visibility and engagement for sponsors and enrich fan experiences. Learfield’s extensive network and expertise in sports media make it an industry leader focused on creating compelling and impactful sponsorship experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.
The role of Partnerships Coordinator within Learfield’s Sports Properties team is a dynamic and fast-paced position essential for the seamless execution of corporate sponsorship activations on campus. This position emphasizes organization, detail orientation, and collaborative communication to support the delivery of partnership elements that benefit sponsors, fans, and university communities. Acting as the pivotal liaison among internal team members, university contacts, and brand partners, the Partnerships Coordinator orchestrates the day-to-day fulfillment of sponsor agreements. Responsibilities include tracking assets, managing campaign elements, and supporting in-person activities such as gameday operations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a multifaceted environment focused on sports sponsorship logistics and event coordination.
In this capacity, the Partnerships Coordinator supports the fulfillment of corporate partnership agreements across various platforms including traditional media, digital campaigns, and live in-venue activations. The position requires meticulous tracking of sponsorship inventory and deliverables, ensuring all elements are executed flawlessly and in alignment with agreements. The coordinator is the trusted representative of both Learfield and its university partners, maintaining strong relationships and communication channels that foster collaboration and success across all stakeholders.
Moreover, the Partnerships Coordinator contributes to the operational side by assisting with gameday setups, signage placements, hospitality arrangements, and staging of in-game promotions, including supervising gameday staff when necessary. The role also involves administrative duties such as budget tracking, invoicing, contract documentation, and expense reporting, vital for smooth business operations and accountability. Additionally, the coordinator compiles proof-of-performance documentation and prepares partner recap presentations to showcase delivered value.
This position offers a hands-on experience ideal for entry-level professionals or those with some marketing, partnerships, or event coordination background looking to build a career in sports sponsorship. Learfield values flexibility, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic event-driven environment. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive workplace culture committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring all team members have opportunities to grow and succeed.
