We are currently seeking a Part Time/Seasonal Pool & Lobby Bar Server/Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is key to delivering top-tier service at both our Lobby Bar and Pool areas, ensuring guests receive attentive and knowledgeable assistance with their food and beverage needs. The Pool & Lobby Bar Server/Attendant will engage guests warmly, assist with their orders, and provide an exceptional hospitality experience by adhering to the highest standards of service. This includes detailed knowledge of the menu offerings, from food ingredients and preparation to beverage selection, and delivering these in a manner that exceeds guest expectations.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment in the pool, courtyard, and Lobby Bar areas. You will manage service ware, utensils, and amenities to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Attention to detail in presentation, delivery, and replenishment is critical. The position demands excellent communication and coordination with culinary and management teams to ensure seamless service and swift resolution of any guest concerns. Ideal candidates are expected to demonstrate professionalism, the ability to learn and adapt quickly based on managerial feedback, and a strong commitment to punctuality and preparedness for each working shift.
This is a non-exempt role reporting directly to the Pool/Lobby Bar Manager, perfect for individuals enthusiastic about hospitality and eager to contribute to a premier hotel’s service excellence. Previous experience in high-service food establishments is preferred, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Education requirement for this position is a high school diploma or equivalent. - one year or more of service in a food driven and high service level establishment preferred
- able to learn and retain new menu information on a daily basis to effectively articulate to guest
- proficient in multi-tasking and able to maintain composure in a fast-paced and high service level establishment
- able to read, write and speak verbally in English
- excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry
- ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all department management, staff, personnel and general public

Job Duties
- Fully understands all offerings of food menu and beverage list
- delivers all required standards of service to the guest such as sequence of service, pre-bussing, food running, plate handling
- maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe work environment including pool, courtyard and Lobby Bar area
- transports and polishes clean wares, utensils, accessories and towels to area needed
- complies with opening and closing as well as on-going side work duties
- hands out poolside amenities to guest
- ensures direct and consistent communication with the culinary and management team
- listens to and resolves customer complaints regarding service, product and personnel
- performs other duties as assigned
- demonstrates ability to learn and change behaviors based on feedback by manager
- routinely shows up to work in a timely fashion prepared to work
