Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant maintenance experience
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances
- Basic HVAC knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building construction or maintenance
- Working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Effective communication skills with residents and staff
- Ability to complete work orders accurately and timely
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors and locks
- Assists in providing initial response for malfunction of residential HVAC equipment performing resets and simple repairs
- Completes all work orders in a timely manner with detailed task and equipment information
- Performs additional duties as requested by Supervisor and Director of Plant Operations
- Communicates effectively with residents and staff
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
- Supports community operations to ensure efficient service delivery
