Our organization is committed to providing high-quality social services, ensuring the well-being and nutritional needs of the community we serve. As a respected social service agency, we emphasize care, safety, and health in every aspect of our operations. We take pride in supporting individuals by offering well-balanced meals prepared with attention to dietary needs and proper food handling standards. This role operates in a setting that values teamwork, efficiency, and dedication to maintaining a clean and safe environment, showcasing a commitment to client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
The Cook position is a vital role within our team, responsible for preparing three nutritious meals daily that meet established dietary guidelines. This role involves more than just food preparation; it requires a strong focus on food safety, cleanliness, and organization. The Cook will assist in warming and getting meals ready for service, setting up both the kitchen and meal areas to provide a welcoming environment for clients. Monitoring inventory is also a key duty to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked and prepared for daily operations. This position requires adherence to health department food certification standards, a good understanding of food handling, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and nutrition. Physical stamina and the ability to prioritize workload are essential, as the role may involve various kitchen duties as new needs arise. Our agency values flexibility and reserves the right to adjust job duties as necessary to respond to evolving requirements and continuously improve service delivery.
