As a Van Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely, courteous, and accurate delivery of products to wholesale customers along a variable daily route. The role requires operating the delivery van in a safe and professional manner, demonstrating strong attention to detail, and adhering to safe work practices. In addition to deliveries, the position involves assisting with store operations before or after route completion, contributing to the smooth functioning of daily business activities.

Daily responsibilities will include accurately locating and picking orders within the store for wholesale customers, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through precise and prompt deliveries of Gordon Food Service products. The role also entails performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment to maintain safety standards.

In-store duties complement delivery tasks by involving accurate processing of customer purchases at the point of sale while securing assets such as cash and merchandise in accordance with store policies. This includes receiving and merchandising products with proper rotation and quality assurance, organizing inventory areas such as end caps, planograms, top stock, freezer, cooler, and backrooms to maintain an organized and efficient retail space.
