The role of Part-Time Valet Parker at The Lodge at St. Edward Park is ideal for individuals who excel behind the wheel and are passionate about providing outstanding guest experiences. This position involves greeting guests, carefully parking and retrieving vehicles, driving shuttles, and delivering luggage. As a frontline ambassador, the valet parker not only ensures the safety and security of guest vehicles but also supports the front desk in creating memorable and seamless arrivals and departures for visitors. Valets are expected to exhibit professionalism, attentiveness, and courtesy while maintaining the image and standards of the hotel.

Job Duties

  • Parks and retrieves guest cars in a safe manner and in accordance with hotel standards
  • delivers suitcases, packages and documents as requested
  • keeps record of calls for service
  • greets guests at front door or car upon arrival
  • escorts incoming and outgoing hotel guests to and from rooms, assists with luggage, and offers information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
  • assists in de-icing pavement, sidewalks, and other areas as applicable
  • removes ice from guests' windshields and provides umbrellas as necessary
  • maintains the image of the hotel by appearing presentable, well-groomed, and in pressed uniform
  • maintains safety and security of guests and team members in all weather conditions regarding valet parking areas
  • drives shuttles as needed
