The Part-Time Valet Parker position at The Lodge at St. Edward Park is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and adept at driving and vehicle management. This role is pivotal in crafting memorable first impressions for guests by providing smooth, courteous, and professional valet services. Valet Parkers are responsible for greeting guests, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, driving shuttles, and assisting with luggage delivery. The position also involves supporting front desk operations to enhance the overall guest experience. Employees in this role receive competitive hourly pay starting at $21.00 plus tips, along with the possibility of daily pay, comprehensive medical benefits including dental, vision, and disability coverage, 401K plans, paid time off, holiday pay, and access to employee assistance and learning programs. The Valet Parker role requires excellent driving skills, including manual transmission operation, parallel parking, and technical driving abilities. Job Duties

  • parks and retrieves guest cars in a safe manner and in accordance with hotel standards
  • delivers suitcases, packages and documents as requested
  • keeps record of calls for service
  • greets guests at front door or car upon arrival
  • escorts incoming and outgoing hotel guests to and from rooms, assists with luggage, and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions
  • assists in de-icing of pavement, sidewalks, and other areas as applicable
  • removes ice from guests' windshields, provides umbrellas as necessary
  • maintains the image of the hotel by appearing extremely presentable, well-groomed and in pressed uniform
  • maintains safety and security of guests and team members at all times, and in all weather conditions in regard to the valet parking areas
  • drives shuttles as needed
