The Valet's primary focus is to create a seamless and welcoming experience for guests by efficiently managing vehicle parking operations. This includes coordinating traffic flow, communicating clearly with guests about valet procedures, and addressing inquiries from both customers and team members with attentiveness and politeness. The role necessitates vigilance in monitoring parking areas to prevent illegal parking and ensure the safe storage of vehicles at all times.
The Valet operates in a fast-paced environment, often working outdoors and in various weather conditions for extended periods. Responsibilities extend beyond just vehicle handling to include assisting guests with loading and unloading, securing guest keys, accurately managing valet payments, and reconciling daily revenue reports. The position also involves proactive communication regarding traffic flow peaks and the need for additional support during busy periods. Moreover, the Valet must adhere strictly to traffic laws, facility policies, and pedestrian safety regulations while operating or moving vehicles.

Job Requirements
- must have valid driver's license
- must be 18 years of age or older
- no high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- no experience required
- on-the-job training provided
Job Qualifications
- one year of similar experience preferred
Job Duties
- coordinate traffic flow
- communicate valet procedure, information and directions clearly and effectively with guests
- understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and team member inquiries
- monitor illegal parking and immediately store vehicles
- interact with guests in a friendly manner
- assist guests with loading and unloading
- collect and secure guest keys
- predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues
- identify and arrange for extra support for extended wait times
- accurately tally and split the tip pool
- receive and receipt a variety of valet payments
- accurately reconcile and report daily revenue
- project currency and coin requirements and re-order as necessary
- operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, facility policies, and applicable pedestrian regulations
- work in an outdoor unprotected environment in all climates for extended periods of time
- keep work area clean of debris
