WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is currently hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in Boise, Idaho, and Ada County. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking for a short evening shift that fits conveniently into their lifestyle. The position involves working Monday through Friday evenings, typically starting around 6:30 PM or 7:00 PM, with shifts lasting between 1 to 2 hours. The role of the Valet Porter is highly autonomous and physically active, as you will independently walk assigned routes through apartment communities to collect bagged trash, recycling materials, and cardboard directly from residents' doors. Responsibilities include transporting these materials to onsite dumpsters, chute locations, or compactors, separating recycling to ensure no contamination, and tidying common areas by picking up any loose trash. Porters also utilize a mobile app for checking in and out, documenting their route progress, uploading photos, and leaving courtesy notices as needed. Occasionally, assisting with maintenance tasks such as pet waste station servicing may be required.
