WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is currently hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the Herriman, Utah area. This role offers evening shifts with hours typically starting between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM, lasting roughly 1-2 hours Monday through Friday, with no weekend work required. This position is ideal for students, caregivers, retirees, or anyone seeking part-time employment that fits around an existing schedule. The work consists of walking assigned apartment communities to collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard directly from residents' doors and taking these materials to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor. Porters ensure recycling items are sorted properly and free of contamination while maintaining clean common areas by picking up any loose trash. The job requires physical activity including walking extensively, climbing stairs, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.

One of the biggest advantages of working as a Valet Porter for WSI is the short evening shift that allows employees to be home by 10 PM, giving them ample time for rest or other activities. The company provides all necessary training, meaning no prior experience is necessary to succeed in this role. Porters operate their routes independently with mobile app check-in and check-out to document service and communicate effectively. At select sites where a personal open-bed pickup truck is required, pay rates increase to $25 per hour. The standard hourly pay rate is between $20 and $25 per hour depending on site requirements.

The nature of this role means individuals need to be reliable, professional, and motivated. Communication skills and basic English proficiency for reading, speaking, and writing are essential due to the need to upload photos, document activities, and leave courtesy notices when appropriate.
