Job Description
Valet Living is a leading property value-add services company specializing in apartment home amenities and services. Known for its commitment to enhancing communities and improving residents’ living experiences, Valet Living offers innovative and comprehensive solutions such as trash and recycling collection, home cleaning, and package management designed specifically for apartment communities. The company prides itself on delivering reliable and high-quality service while fostering a strong sense of community among residents and property owners. Valet Living is a reputable employer dedicated to diversity, equality, and inclusion in its workplace practices and actively values the strength that different backgrounds and perspectives bring to its team.
Now hiring part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, to maintain cleanliness and a welcoming environment within apartment communities. This role is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work that keeps them moving and engaged while earning extra income. The position offers up to $20 per hour and generally involves evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday beginning at 9 AM, with about 10 to 15 or more hours weekly. Assignments are conveniently located close to where employees live whenever possible, ensuring ease and efficiency.
The Trash Collector role centers on collecting trash and recycling bags placed by residents right at their doorsteps within apartment properties. Collectors use their personal reliable open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer to transport bagged waste to the on-site trash compactors. Importantly, there is no requirement for heavy lifting of bulk items or off-site driving or dumping, making it less physically demanding but still active. The job involves walking extensively throughout the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the shift. Digital technology plays a key part in daily operations as employees utilize a company mobile app on their smartphones to log service details, track time, and take photos documenting compliance status.
This opportunity is attractive for those who enjoy staying physically active while working in a structured and supportive environment. Valet Living provides gloves, safety vests, and other protective gear prioritizing staff safety. Fast pay options like DailyPay enable employees to access their earnings quickly, providing financial flexibility. The company also emphasizes career growth, offering pathways for promotion into leadership roles. Additionally, employees can benefit from referral bonuses by introducing friends or family who join the team.
Valet Living is committed to equal employment opportunities, supporting applicants from all backgrounds including race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, and veteran status. This dedication to diversity enhances the workplace culture while reinforcing the company’s mission to serve communities with respect and care. Individuals interested in a dependable, active, and community-focused part-time role are encouraged to apply; the application window remains open.
