Job Duties
- Provides customer service processing business and individual banking transactions
- manages a cash drawer and conducts trial balances throughout the day
- balances and rolls the cash drawer at shift end comparing balance to system records
- reports discrepancies to supervisor
- verifies cash and checks for deposit including endorsements and potential fraud
- examines cash to guard against counterfeit bills
- cashes checks following bank policy and issues receipts
- assists customers with transactions and ATM operations
- provides accurate customer service to minimize teller differences
- demonstrates knowledge of bank deposit and lending products and services
- uses needs-based questioning to identify appropriate bank products
- refers customers to business partners and assists with electronic services
- serves as relief or backup teller at different bank locations
- completes assigned learning activities timely
- participates in weekly huddles and coaching sessions
- models bank core values supporting culture
- participates in community activities
- travels occasionally for training and team meetings
- collaborates with internal teams and supports customers
- maintains compliance with all applicable banking regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act
