The HomeGoods Store 0700 location in Chelsea, MA, is currently inviting applications for the position of a Retail Floor Care Associate. The primary responsibilities include operating floor care equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, along with performing routine cleaning tasks like dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. The associate helps maintain various zones of the store, including the sales floor, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms, ensuring they comply with operational and merchandise standards, as well as health and safety policies.

In addition to floor care duties, the Retail Floor Care Associate is cross-trained to support multiple areas within the store, including the sales floor, front end, backroom, and more. This multi-functional capacity allows the associate to flexibly respond to changing business needs and support store operations effectively. The role also demands adherence to loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage, along with upholding company policies and labor laws. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Uphold organizational and cleanliness standards across sales floor, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms
  • Adhere to health and safety policies including refilling essential items in lounges and restrooms
  • Cross-train and support various store areas such as front end, backroom, and sales floor
  • Communicate effectively with management and associates while upholding loss prevention and labor laws
