The TJ Maxx Store located at 235 Coburg Road in Eugene, OR, is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team. This position offers a starting pay range of $15.55 to $16.05 per hour, with actual pay determined based on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. As an employee in this role, you will be a key part of maintaining a clean, organized, and safe store environment, focusing primarily on floor care. This includes operating floor care machinery such as scrubbers and buffers, and performing various cleaning tasks including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows.

The role demands adherence to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards to uphold the company's high standards. Employees are cross-trained to work in multiple areas within the store, including the backroom, front end, sales floor, and other locations to support the overall business needs. This flexibility ensures dynamic work experiences and promotes team collaboration.

Additionally, employees are expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers, embodying the company’s values and culture. Maintaining organizational standards throughout all store areas such as sales floors, associate lounges, restrooms, and backrooms is an essential part of the role. Other responsibilities include supporting front-end coverage needs, upholding merchandising philosophies and signage standards, initiating and participating in store recovery efforts, and adhering to all labor laws and policies. Strong communication skills are required for accurate and effective communication with management and peers.
