Job Description
ALDI is a global supermarket chain known for its commitment to providing high-quality products at affordable prices. With its unique approach to shopping that emphasizes efficiency, quality, and value, ALDI has earned a reputation as a leading retailer in the grocery industry. The company operates a vast network of stores across the United States and around the world, staffed by passionate employees who are dedicated to delivering an exceptional shopping experience. ALDI continuously strives to innovate and grow, opening new stores in strategic locations to better serve customers and communities. The upcoming store opening in Frisco, TX, expected in November 2026, represents the company’s ongoing commitment to expansion and customer service excellence.
ALDI is currently seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers for its Frisco location. The roles are essential in maintaining store operations and ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping environment for customers. Part-time positions typically involve fewer than 30 hours per week, with a competitive starting wage of $18.50 per hour. Wage increases are structured progressively over the years, reaching up to $20.50 per hour by the fifth year. Employees will train at a different location in Lewisville, TX, with compensation provided for travel expenses in accordance with ALDI’s policy.
The cashier role focuses on delivering friendly, efficient checkout service, utilizing the point-of-sale system to accurately process transactions and following cash handling procedures. Cashiers also assist with curbside pickup orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment for customers. On the other hand, stockers play a vital role in keeping shelves replenished and organized according to merchandising planograms, ensuring product availability and presentation standards are met. Stockers are required to be available for early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 am.
Both roles require physical tasks such as lifting products up to 45 pounds, operating store equipment like cash registers and pallet jacks, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety. Employees must comply with company policies, support operational efficiency and loss prevention goals, and work collaboratively to foster a safe and welcoming store environment. Qualifications include strong customer service skills, ability to operate store equipment, effective communication, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidates will be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and prior retail experience seen as an advantage.
ALDI offers competitive wages and benefits to all employees, including a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, an employee assistance program, and a national discount program. While part-time employees primarily benefit from financial and support programs, full-time employees receive additional health insurance options, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, disability insurance, and life insurance benefits. ALDI emphasizes equal opportunity employment and prohibits discrimination based on a wide range of protected characteristics. The company’s dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment makes it an attractive choice for those seeking stable employment with growth potential and comprehensive benefits.
