Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

ALDI is currently seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to join their team. These roles are essential to maintaining smooth store operations and delivering an excellent customer shopping experience. The position is part-time, offering fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. Pay increases are structured according to tenure, with incremental raises reaching up to $20.00 per hour in the fifth year.

In the cashier role, employees will provide friendly and efficient checkout service, accurately processing customer purchases using the point-of-sale system while adhering to cash handling policies. Cashiers also assist in completing curbside orders, ensuring timely and accurate service for customers. Stockers focus on maintaining properly stocked and organized shelves and displays according to merchandising planograms. This position may require early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 AM to prepare the store for the day.

Both roles demand physical stamina, including lifting products up to 45 pounds and operating equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubbers, pallet jacks, and cardboard balers. Working in varying temperature conditions including freezers and coolers is also required. Employees must comply with company policies, promote safety by identifying hazards, and maintain cleanliness and organization within the store.
