Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

ALDI is currently seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to join their team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining efficient and organized store operations. As a cashier, you will be the face of the store, providing friendly and efficient checkout service using the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy in transactions, adhering to cash handling policies, and contributing to an efficient customer checkout experience. Cashiers will also support curbside pickup orders, carefully retrieving items and ensuring timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.

Stockers play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and appearance of the store by ensuring shelves and displays are stocked neatly following merchandising planograms. Starting as early as 5:00 a.m., stockers are responsible for handling products with care, including lifting and placing items up to 45 pounds across various shelving heights, including refrigerated and frozen sections, and utilizing equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers safely and efficiently. Both cashiers and stockers contribute to the store’s operational success by adhering to safety standards, inventory procedures, and company policies.

This position is part-time, typically requiring fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $18.50 per hour. Wage increases are rewarded progressively from year two to year five, offering employees motivation and recognition for their loyalty and hard work.
