In the cashier role, you will utilize ALDI's point-of-sale system to scan and process purchases accurately while adhering to cash handling policies and procedures. You will help maintain checkout line efficiency by managing line policies and opening additional lanes as needed. Completing curbside pickup orders is also a key responsibility, ensuring orders are properly retrieved, checked, and delivered in a timely manner.
As a stocker, you will be responsible for neatly stocking shelves according to merchandising guidelines and planograms, arriving as early as 5:00 a.m. when necessary. This includes physical tasks like lifting products up to 45 pounds and operating equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers in various temperature-controlled environments.
Both roles require a strong focus on safety, compliance with company policies, and collaboration with store management to meet operational goals including loss prevention and maintaining a safe work environment. Employees must be able to perform physical duties such as pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and walking.

Job Requirements
- at least 18 years old required
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior work experience in a retail environment preferred

Job Duties

- supports store management in providing a safe working environment by identifying and rectifying hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics, and maintaining equipment in proper working order
- maintains store zones standards and merchandising standards at all times
- adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines
- performs general cleaning tasks to company standards
- properly utilizes the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately scan and process customer purchases and informs store management of scanning concerns or errors
- adheres to cash policies and procedures
- follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required to ensure an efficient checkout
- completes curbside pickup orders by accurately retrieving items from the store, verifying order contents, and ensuring timely delivery to customers’ vehicles from the staging area
