Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- Ability to stock merchandise up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights for stockers
- Ability to operate machinery safely for stockers
- Ability to work morning shifts for stockers
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to perform cleaning duties
- Ability to operate cash register for cashiers
- Compliance with state and local laws for handling alcoholic beverages for cashiers

- Cashiers must be able to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Cashiers must comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- Stockers must be able to operate equipment safely and properly, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- Stockers must have morning availability to accommodate store operational responsibilities and work morning shifts with start times as early as 5:00 a.m.
Job Duties
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
- Processes customer purchases and operates registers
- Performs general cleaning duties and stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- Provides exceptional customer service assisting customers with their shopping experience
- Provides feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
- Participates in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitors inventory for accuracy
- Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Stocks shelves and rotates product properly to guarantee fresh product availability
- Follows merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays
- Organizes new inventory and removes and breaks down empty boxes
- Operates machinery safely and follows all safety procedures
- Regularly sits, stands, bends, reaches, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and walks about the store
- For stockers, stocks merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights
- Cashiers comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- Stockers must have morning availability to work shifts with start times as early as 5:00 a.m.
