Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work fewer than 30 hours per week
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Ability to operate cash register and related store equipment
- Ability to work early morning shifts if required
- Ability to provide friendly customer service

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary
- Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals
- Assists store management in achieving total loss goals
- Complies with all established company policies and processes
- Supports store management in providing a safe working environment by identifying and rectifying hazards and maintaining equipment
- Maintains store zones and merchandising standards
- Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines
- Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards
- Properly utilizes the point-of-sale system to accurately scan and process customer purchases
- Adheres to cash policies and procedures
- Opens additional check lanes as required to ensure efficient checkout
- Completes curbside pickup orders by retrieving and verifying items and delivering to customers
- Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms
- Arrives to work as early as 5:00am if necessary
- Performs duties combining cashier and stocker responsibilities as a store associate
- Pushes, pulls, sits, stands, reaches, grasps, twists, bends, and moves within the store
- Lifts and places products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights
- Operates equipment such as cash registers, electric and manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers
- Stocks products in varying temperatures including freezers and coolers
- Uses glass and multipurpose cleaning products
