The role of Utility Cleaner at The Ritz-Carlton Portland is pivotal to maintaining the seamless operation of various hotel departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry services. Job Duties

  • assist with cleaning duties across various hotel departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry
  • prepare clean linens and dishware for guest use

  • transport linens and dishware throughout the hotel
  • ensure a safe workspace by adhering to company policies and procedures
  • report accidents, damages, and hazardous conditions to management
  • perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving objects under 50 pounds
  • maintain professional appearance and communication at all times
  • cooperate with team members to achieve common goals
  • respond appropriately to concerns from other employees
  • undertake additional reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
