The role of Shift Coordinator is dynamic and central to daily store operations, involving a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the smooth functioning of event-based retail settings. The Shift Coordinator is entrusted with assisting opening and closing operations during events and ensuring adherence to warehouse standards focused on safety, product quality, customer service, and store cleanliness. More than just a support role, the Shift Coordinator acts as a role model and resource for other staff members. During breaks or event shifts, they engage customers by educating them about products, promoting enthusiasm and fostering positive buying behavior through demonstrations. This role requires active participation in setting up demo events, maintaining sanitation and food safety standards, and conducting daily safety inspections to guarantee compliance and a secure environment. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • able to work 2 to 3 shifts per week including weekends
  • capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and standing for up to 6 hours
  • comfortable preparing cooking and cleaning work areas and equipment
  • able to support demo events including setting up and removing carts equipment and supplies
  • reliable transportation to and from work location
  • demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to engage and educate customers effectively
  • familiarity with safety and sanitation standards
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • prior retail or event coordination experience preferred but not required
  • ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks during events

Job Duties
