Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable service company specializing in making apartment communities cleaner, more welcoming, and more enjoyable for their residents. As a leading provider of property services, Valet Living focuses on enhancing the daily living experience through dedicated community-based roles. The company is committed to building a strong team of reliable and diligent individuals who take pride in preserving the cleanliness and appeal of residential environments. Valet Living operates with a strong emphasis on employee safety, diversity, and inclusion, making it a supportive and fair workplace where everyone has the opportunity to grow and succeed.

Currently, Valet Living is seeking part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, to support their mission by maintaining apartment complexes in pristine condition. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a part-time position that allows them to stay active while earning extra income. The job requires a personal and reliable open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer, making transportation a critical requirement to perform the duties effectively.

Trash Collectors at Valet Living play an essential role in managing trash and recycling within assigned apartment communities. Throughout their shifts, which generally occur in the evenings from Sunday to Thursday starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM, they collect trash and recycling bags left by residents, transporting these materials to an on-site trash compactor. The role intentionally excludes heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping, providing a manageable physical workload while keeping staff engaged and active.

This position involves the use of the company’s mobile app for logging service details such as arrival and departure times, as well as tracking and non-compliance photos to ensure service quality. The app requires a smartphone with a data plan, enabling seamless communication and documentation of daily tasks. The job’s hands-on nature requires physical activity such as walking the property, climbing stairs multiple times, and working outdoors in various weather conditions, making it an excellent choice for individuals who enjoy an active and varied work environment.

The pay rate for this part-time role is $18 per hour with an average workload of 10 to 15 or more hours per week. Valet Living aims to assign job locations as close to employees’ homes as possible, helping to reduce commute time and increase convenience. Employees benefit from fast pay options via DailyPay, opportunities for career advancement into leadership roles, and the potential to earn referral bonuses by recommending qualified candidates.

Valet Living also prioritizes employee safety by providing necessary protective equipment including gloves, safety vests, and gear to ensure a secure working environment. This role offers more than just a paycheck—it provides a chance to be part of a team that values hard work, dependability, and community improvement. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (with themselves listed as a covered driver), and be authorized to work in the United States. Proof of authorization will be required upon hire.

Overall, this position is suited for motivated individuals who want a part-time job that combines physical activity with reliable income, flexible evening hours, and a welcoming team culture. Apply today to join Valet Living’s team and contribute to enhancing the living experience for apartment communities across the country.
