Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable service company dedicated to enhancing the living experience of residents in apartment communities by providing convenient, reliable doorstep trash and recycling collection. With a strong commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable environments, Valet Living plays a crucial role in community upkeep. The company prides itself on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where employees can grow and find steady work that fits their lifestyle, particularly with part-time opportunities designed to supplement income. Valet Living operates with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring that apartment residents can enjoy their homes without the burden of managing waste disposal themselves.

The part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet, position offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking supplemental income with flexible evening hours and minimal commute. This role involves servicing one or more nearby apartment complexes, collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps and transporting them to on-site compactors using a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer. The job suits those who prefer local work with no long-distance driving or off-site dumping. Valet Living provides steady and consistent work, typically totaling 10 to 15 hours per week during the evening from Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7 or 8 PM.

This position is ideal for anyone looking for a second job, a steady evening schedule, or supplemental earnings without the stress of weekend shifts or erratic hours. The work demands an active lifestyle, as it requires walking across the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Employees use a mobile app to log activities, track jobs, and upload photos of completed tasks, ensuring transparency and efficient communication with management.

Compensation for this role includes an hourly rate of $18 for truck owners and $16 for helpers, with opportunities for fast pay through DailyPay, allowing employees to receive their earnings quickly. The position emphasizes employee safety, providing necessary equipment such as gloves and safety vests. Additionally, Valet Living offers incentives like referral bonuses and opportunities for career advancement, as many area leaders are promoted from within the organization.

Valet Living seeks motivated individuals who can independently manage their routes, maintain a consistent routine, and have reliable transportation suited to the job’s requirements. The company values diversity and is committed to equitable employment practices, supporting a workplace culture where all employees are respected and valued. For those interested in a fulfilling part-time role close to home with steady pay and clear expectations, the Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist position at Valet Living offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in local apartment communities.
