The Server / Waitstaff position at Stafford Hill represents an exciting opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and making meaningful connections in the senior living sector. This role operates during the afternoon to early evening hours from 4 pm to 7 pm, with a commitment of 12-15 hours per week, covering both weekdays and weekends. Serving as the crucial link between residents and the culinary team, the Server / Waitstaff ensures that every dining experience is enjoyable and seamless by delivering excellent service and ensuring that meals are presented perfectly and served promptly.
Working closely with the Culinary Director, the Server / Waitstaff plays an essential role in maintaining a welcoming dining environment that reflects the community's commitment to exceptional service standards. In addition to serving meals, this role involves attentively communicating with residents, managing special requests, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the dining area and kitchen. Job Requirements

- be able to work from 4pm to 7pm, 12-15 hours per week on weekdays and weekends
- have good communication skills

Job Qualifications
- have worked in a restaurant or with customers before or be excited to learn
- be friendly and easy to approach to make guests feel welcome

- be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns
- notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe
Job Duties
- check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents
- talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they’re happy
- keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe
- tell the kitchen about any special requests clearly
- after each meal, set up the dining room again and take pride in how it looks
