This part-time Server position at Tenfold Senior Living plays an essential role in delivering outstanding dining experiences to the community's residents. Servers are entrusted with ensuring that each resident's dining preferences and needs are met with empathy, attention, and professionalism. The role involves more than just serving meals; it requires building meaningful relationships with residents, understanding their dietary restrictions and likes, and contributing to a compassionate dining atmosphere across three distinct dining venues. In addition to serving food and beverages using a digital point-of-sale system, the Server is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, setting and clearing tables, and supporting fellow team members to foster a cooperative work environment. Job Requirements

  • at least 17 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED, preferred
  • current CA food handlers card
  • interest in interacting with and deeply relating to seniors
  • meets all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed RCFE
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • alignment with Tenfold core values: curiosity, creativity, resilience, compassion, intention and contribution
  • ability to work Sunday 6am - 2pm and Monday, Thursday, Saturday from 3pm - 8pm

Job Duties

  • ensuring residents experience a compassionate, friendly and efficient dining experience in all three dining room venues
  • support and encourage your fellow dining team members
  • utilizing a digital POS system to take food and beverage orders from residents in a timely and organized fashion, which requires knowing the menu and ingredients of menu items and memorizing the daily specials
  • setting and clearing tables
  • washing table tops and condiment containers after every meal
  • maintain clean and fully supplied coffee and juice bar in the bistro
  • keep the servery and dining room meticulously clean at all times
