The Part-Time Server position at John Ash Restaurant within Vinarosa Resort & Spa plays a vital role in delivering a refined, welcoming, and consistent dining experience aligned with the resort's luxury positioning. This role is responsible for executing service standards with precision, ensuring each guest receives personalized and attentive care that enhances their overall experience. The server will utilize strong menu and beverage knowledge to confidently provide accurate recommendations and employ effective upselling techniques that increase revenue while elevating guest satisfaction. The Part-Time Server will be entrusted with responsibilities including order taking, serving food and beverages with appropriate etiquette and presentation, maintaining cleanliness and organization of service stations, and supporting banquet and event services as needed. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to all guests in accordance with luxury hotel standards
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food, beverage, wine, and cocktail offerings, including ingredients and preparation
  • Accurately take and enter guest orders using the property POS system
  • Deliver food and beverages with correct timing, presentation, and service etiquette
  • Monitor service pacing to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience
  • Execute upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase check averages
  • Maintain clean, organized tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout service
  • Follow proper cash handling, credit card processing, and tip reporting procedures
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and verify guest identification as required
  • Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties including mise en place and breakdown
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and support teams to ensure service accuracy
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns, escalating when appropriate
  • Support banquet and event service as needed based on business demands
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and accountability at all times
  • Maintain a guest-first mindset with ownership of service recovery
  • Communicate calmly and respectfully in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
