Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a rapidly growing, family-owned company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for seniors across more than 60 resort-style communities nationwide. At RLC, serving seniors is not just a job; it is a passionate calling that drives the entire team to cultivate close-knit, servant-hearted communities grounded in core values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness and Compassion, and Service Excellence. These values form the foundation for every interaction and service provided, ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for both employees and residents. RLC is proud to foster a culture that prioritizes four essential goals for success: Happy Employees, Happy Residents, Full Occupancy, and On-Budget Operations. These principles guide the daily operations and the shared mission of all team members.
The Part-Time Server role at Resort Lifestyle Communities offers more than the usual food service duties; it provides an opportunity to create meaningful dining experiences that bring joy and comfort to beloved senior residents. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a collaborative team setting and who are motivated by kindness and service excellence. Part-Time Servers contribute to a positive and caring community environment by actively engaging with residents, attentively responding to their unique needs, and embracing a service-oriented attitude that aligns with RLC's mission.
Part-Time Servers assist in both casual and fine dining settings, ensuring personalized, attentive service that creates memorable moments during mealtimes. Responsibilities include not only carrying trays and offering beverages but also guiding residents through menu selections and serving a diverse range of courses from appetizers to desserts. Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area is also a key part of the role, involving tasks such as clearing and resetting tables, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning serving areas. The position requires a cheerful and positive demeanor when delivering room service or interacting with residents to address their comments and concerns thoughtfully. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisors to maintain smooth dining operations.
Joining the RLC team means enjoying attractive perks like pay on demand and employee discounts. Whether applicants are seeking their first job or have prior experience, they will gain valuable real-world skills and make an immediate positive impact on the community. RLC supports its employees with strong leadership in beautiful, resort-style environments and provides a meaningful workplace where each team member's efforts directly enhance residents' quality of life. This role is an excellent fit for individuals aged 15 years and older who can communicate effectively in English and are motivated to contribute to a compassionate, service-focused setting. Required food handler permits must be obtained promptly in compliance with local ordinances, and state work permit processes will be facilitated as needed by community management.
By joining Resort Lifestyle Communities as a Part-Time Server, candidates become part of a purpose-driven organization where their commitment and servant heart make a positive difference every day. If you are ready to bring kindness, respect, and exceptional service to a supportive senior living community, RLC warmly welcomes your application. This opportunity promises meaningful work, a respectful team atmosphere, and the chance to grow alongside one of the nation's leading senior lifestyle providers.
