The current opportunity is for a Resident Services Coordinator / Concierge position at the beautiful Nineteen800 community, a 204-unit multifamily property located in Cupertino, California. This role offers a unique career opportunity for experienced customer service professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional resident experiences and contributing to a vibrant community atmosphere. The Resident Services Coordinator is a key front-facing role focused on creating a welcoming and personalized experience for both prospective and current residents, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

Working Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, the coordinator is responsible for greeting guests, engaging residents positively, and handling concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner. They act as the communication hub for community-related information, regularly updating residents on events and happenings through digital portals and physical postings. Beyond daily interactions, this role also involves planning and promoting resident events and activities that add value beyond the apartment home, fostering a strong sense of community and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying opportunities for service improvement and resident engagement, playing a proactive role in enhancing the overall living experience at Nineteen800. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $25.00 with an attractive compensation package that includes a 401(k) match, rental incentives, renewal compensations, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Full-time employees working 30-40 hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and vacation accrual, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its workforce.

Job Requirements

  • Must have excellent customer service experience
  • must pass fair housing exam
  • at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • experience with file audits, customer service, and resident engagement
  • ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • knowledge of operations software used at the property level including Outlook, internet software, Excel, and Word
  • current driver’s license and auto insurance
  • able to work weekends and overtime as job requires

Job Duties

  • Greet prospects, guests, and visitors as they arrive to the community

  • respond to resident complaints and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure gratification
  • act as the communication center providing community updates via computer portals and postings
  • plan, promote, and deliver resident events and activities enhancing resident value beyond their apartment homes
  • identify, communicate, and implement opportunities to improve resident happiness and service
