The Ritz-Carlton brand is synonymous with luxury, hospitality, and attention to detail, making it a coveted workplace for professionals passionate about delivering top-tier service. Marriott International supports a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values unique perspectives and fosters career growth. With more than 100 award-winning properties worldwide, The Ritz-Carlton stands as a leader in luxury hospitality, consistently setting standards for guest service excellence.
This position is a part-time, non-management role within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations department. The hourly pay rate starts at $30.83, with an increase to $34.25 per hour after 90 days of employment. The role focuses on serving Residence owners and their guests by responding promptly and thoughtfully to personal requests, instructions, and arrangements. It requires maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, safety, and security to ensure an exceptional living experience for Residence owners within the property.
The Concierge team member will be responsible for providing detailed information about the property and surrounding amenities, including local venues, events, activities, hotel restaurants, and nearby dining options. This role demands effective communication skills for handling calls, messages, and requests from Residence owners, and requires collaboration with other departments such as Engineering and Housekeeping to address guest needs. Meticulous record-keeping and system management through platforms like BuildingLink are integral to this position.
Additionally, the Concierge professional will uphold Residence Rules and Regulations, manage on-site vendor interactions, and maintain thorough documentation of authorizations and insurance requirements. A warm and welcoming demeanor is essential as you greet Residence owners with genuine appreciation, ensuring they feel valued and cared for during their stay. This role also demands adherence to company standards regarding uniform, name tags, and overall appearance.
Working at The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles means embracing the brand’s renowned Gold Standards, including the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values. These standards form the cultural foundation that guides daily operations and fosters an environment where team members support each other’s growth and success. The role involves physical activity such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and handling objects up to 10 pounds.
As a part of this team, you will engage with a diverse group of colleagues and guests, contributing to a workplace that celebrates various cultural backgrounds and talents. Marriott International advocates equal opportunity employment, welcoming applicants from all walks of life and ensuring non-discrimination with respect to disability, veteran status, or any other protected basis under applicable law.
Joining The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles offers an opportunity to be part of a prestigious global luxury hospitality brand, where your work is meaningful and recognized, and your professional growth is nurtured. The role is perfectly suited for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, dedicated to high standards of service, and eager to deliver unforgettable experiences that uphold the reputation of The Ritz-Carlton brand.
