Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet all visitors, students, faculty, and staff in a welcoming manner
  • answer, screen, and route all incoming telephone calls
  • attend to minor student injuries and requests
  • perform minor secretarial duties
  • maintain office and adjoining areas
  • direct visitors to appropriate personnel and offices
  • keep the reception area tidy and well-stocked
  • provide basic and accurate information in person, via phone, and email
  • receive, sort, and distribute deliveries
  • maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access
  • clean, apply ice, and bandage minor injuries and log incidents
  • address miscellaneous student requests as appropriate
  • ensure all common spaces are clean, safe, and free of obstacles
  • alert administration about safety concerns
  • maintain organized workspace and office machines
