- prior work experience as a receptionist or similar role, preferably in an academic setting
- ability to work with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, Mac OS, iPad
- experience with office equipment such as fax machines and printers

Job Duties
- Greet all visitors, students, faculty, and staff in a welcoming manner
- answer, screen, and route all incoming telephone calls
- attend to minor student injuries and requests
- perform minor secretarial duties
- maintain office and adjoining areas
- direct visitors to appropriate personnel and offices
- keep the reception area tidy and well-stocked
- provide basic and accurate information in person, via phone, and email
- receive, sort, and distribute deliveries
- maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access
- clean, apply ice, and bandage minor injuries and log incidents
- address miscellaneous student requests as appropriate
- ensure all common spaces are clean, safe, and free of obstacles
- alert administration about safety concerns
- maintain organized workspace and office machines
