The company's commitment to its employees is evident through its recognition as a Glassdoor Best Places to Work and its multiple Top Workplace honors from esteemed publications such as the Philadelphia Inquirer and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. This dedication to fostering a positive work environment ensures that staff members are valued, respected, and given ample opportunities to grow, develop, and succeed in their careers.

The role of Part-Time Receptionist at CarShop, known internally as the Director of 1st Impressions, is vital to maintaining the high standards of customer service for which the company is known. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, both in person and via phone, and it requires an individual who is friendly, organized, and passionate about creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Working part-time, with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Part-Time Receptionist plays an essential role in shaping customer perceptions right from the initial interaction.

The hourly pay for this position ranges from $16.00 to $17.00, reflecting the company's recognition of the importance of this role within the organization. Responsibilities include greeting customers warmly and professionally, answering and directing incoming phone calls, managing customer inquiries by connecting them with appropriate team members or departments, and efficiently handling retail service cash-outs. The Receptionist also provides clerical and administrative support across various dealership departments, helping to maintain an organized front desk and customer waiting area.

This fast-paced role demands strong multitasking abilities, effective communication skills, and a professional demeanor, even under pressure. Successful candidates will demonstrate time-management expertise, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented attitude with a positive, can-do approach. Moreover, the Receptionist must be computer literate and quick to learn new systems to support the operational needs of the dealership effectively.

Joining CarShop means becoming part of a company that values integrity, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. The role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and want to contribute directly to an exceptional customer experience. If you take pride in helping others and thrive in an energetic, supportive environment, this role could be the perfect fit to start or continue your career journey at CarShop.
