The company is widely celebrated for its dedication to gracious hospitality, neighborliness, and a home-like atmosphere that ensures comfort and belonging for all residents and their families. Brookdale's commitment to creating engaging and entertaining events fosters strong community connections, enhancing the quality of life for its residents through group and one-on-one interactions. As an industry leader in clinical care, Brookdale invests extensively in training and corporate support to promote continuous professional growth and development for its associates. With multiple workplace awards, including recognition by Newsweek in 2024 and 2025 as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, Brookdale values an inclusive culture that supports the success and well-being of every employee.

The Receptionist role at Brookdale represents an exceptional opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic, people-centered environments and seek to make a positive impact every day. Serving as the frontline representative of the community, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in welcoming visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism. This position involves managing inquiries, ensuring proper visitor documentation, and facilitating seamless communication between residents, staff, and guests. Beyond greeting visitors, the Receptionist handles essential mail duties—sorting, delivering, and collecting both community and resident mail—while also performing routine office and clerical tasks to support efficient community operations.

Included in the responsibilities is the ability to respond promptly to resident emergencies by contacting appropriate personnel internally and externally, following established community protocols. This role demands a detail-oriented, organized, and empathetic individual who can maintain visitor logs accurately and support various administrative functions. Brookdale offers a flexible work arrangement, with both part-time and full-time positions available, along with competitive pay ranging from $17.13 to $23.08 per hour, reflecting the applicant’s skills and experience.

Brookdale emphasizes associate health and wellness through comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) plans, paid time off, life insurance, and various voluntary benefits. The company is committed to supporting veterans, active military personnel, and military spouses in their career journeys and provides initiatives like fee advancements for naturalization applications to assist qualified associates on their path to U.S. citizenship. This role at Brookdale is not only a job but a chance to join a thriving, supportive community focused on making lives better—including your own.
