Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven office reception experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong communication skills including phone, email, and face-to-face
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good business judgment
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally on a cart
  • Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
  • Ability to work 28 plus hours per week
  • Must be available to work Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Must be willing to work at Dr. Martens Corporate Headquarters during the contract period

Job Qualifications

  • Proven office reception experience including multi-line phone management
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Positive and helpful relationship-oriented demeanor
  • Clear communication skills via phone, email, and in person
  • Strong professional grammar, phone etiquette, and written communication
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High level of organization, efficiency, and punctuality
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate trustworthiness
  • Physical ability to move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on a cart occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive folding and sorting tasks by hand
  • Capability to work at a standard computer setup 28 plus hours per week with or without accommodations

Job Duties

  • Answer and route all incoming front-desk calls and visitors including handling routine questions and security front-door inquiries
  • Utilize administrative resources to keep systems current and coordinate with departments
  • Process mail, including outgoing and incoming shipments and courier services
  • Create UPS labels for internal shipments and remote employees
  • Order, stock, and maintain office, shipping, coffee, and vending supplies
  • Place supply orders for employee needs
  • Prepare onboarding packets and welcome arrangements for new employees
  • Assist with catering, supplies, and other needs for business meetings and employee events
  • Route building maintenance requests including contacting third party contractors
  • Maintain reception area and office supply closet
  • Perform general office projects and duties as assigned
