Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or related field preferred
  • Ability to provide excellent guest service
  • Proficiency with basic computer operations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle monetary transactions responsibly
  • Certification or willingness to obtain first aid and CPR training
  • Availability to work Monday to Thursday 4-9 pm, Friday 4-7 pm, and weekends 7 am to 5 pm

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to learn all program areas within the recreation division
  • Proficiency with computer software, preferably Rec Trac
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash and perform cash drawer balancing
  • Certification in first aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist guests and members providing exceptional guest service
  • Answer incoming calls and provide appropriate information
  • Manage member services such as checking in patrons, processing new memberships, renewals, and program registrations
  • Apply payments and issue cash refunds
  • Monitor facility and locker rooms
  • Process monetary transactions using Rec Trac software
  • Enforce established rules, regulations, and policies
  • Handle cash transactions and balance cash drawer
  • Administer first aid, CPR, and medical attention as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
