Job Description
Right At School is a leading provider of extended day enrichment programs, operating in 17 states and serving more than 35,000 students nationwide. With over a decade of experience, the company offers safe, fun, and meaningful before school, after school, and break camp programs designed not only to enrich children’s learning experiences but also to provide them with a nurturing environment where they can explore, play, and grow. The organization’s mission is centered around inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving parents peace of mind by offering exceptional and affordable programs tailored to the needs of students, families, and educational institutions across the United States. At the heart of their success is a dedicated team of educators who bring enthusiasm and passion to their work every day.
Now hiring Program Managers for the Fall 2026-2027 term, Right At School offers an exciting opportunity for mission-driven individuals passionate about children's education and enrichment. The Program Manager role is fundamental in delivering the organization's core promise by overseeing quality enrichment programs using their innovative internally designed Disguised Learning curriculum. This position requires a dynamic leader who can develop and coach a team committed to providing a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children. Program Managers will collaborate closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience and ensure that the program aligns seamlessly with the school’s educational goals.
The position provides a competitive hourly pay range of $26 to $30, depending on education and experience, with work hours Monday through Friday from 1 to 6 PM—benefiting those who prefer a weekday-only schedule without weekends. Program Managers also serve as local representatives by participating in community events such as Back to School nights, Right Club Gives Back initiatives, Field Days, and other outreach programs, thereby deepening the organization’s impact and visibility in the communities it serves.
Critical responsibilities include maintaining and managing safety standards, supervising staff, and ensuring all program paperwork is accurately completed. The role demands someone who can uphold professional standards in interactions with students, parents, staff, and community members. Ideal candidates will be well-versed or willing to learn the Google technology platform and must satisfy state-specific requirements such as LIVE Scan fingerprinting, FA/CPR certification, Mandated Reporter training, EMSA credentials, and a health certificate with a negative tuberculosis test from a physician. This role is not only about supervision but acting as a leader, mentor, and advocate for children’s development within a fun and safe learning environment.
Right At School’s commitment to its employees is reflected in its comprehensive benefits package. The company offers health and wellness plans including medical, dental, vision, and virtual care, alongside pet health discounts and insurance. Additional supplemental insurance options cover short- and long-term disability, and financial wellness plans include a 401(k) with company match and free financial coaching. Employees also gain access to legal services, identity theft protection, transit and parking savings, employee assistance programs, and discounted or free enrollment in the company’s childcare programs at participating sites. Perks include professional memberships, entertainment discount programs, and cell phone discounts. All benefits come with eligibility criteria to support a diverse team of professionals dedicated to nurturing young minds while enjoying meaningful and rewarding employment.
Right At School is an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and committed to ensuring a workplace free from discrimination and bias.
