Job Description

Right At School has been a pioneering force in providing extended day enrichment programs for more than a decade, serving over 35,000 students across 17 states in the United States. As a reputable educational service provider, Right At School offers comprehensive before school, after school, and break camp programs that give children a safe, fun, and meaningful environment to learn, play, and grow. The company is dedicated to fostering a love of learning while supporting schools and giving parents peace of mind through its robust and well-structured programs designed to fit seamlessly within the school day and broader community.

As a company, Right At School is passionately mission-driven, focusing on inclusivity and community engagement. The foundation of their success lies in a team of dedicated educators who bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and care to their roles every day. They emphasize creating a nurturing environment where children are encouraged not only to develop academically but also socially and emotionally. The organization believes that children benefit most when they have the opportunity to be kids, engaging in activities that are both educational and enjoyable.

The role of an educator with Right At School is central to achieving their mission and vision. This position involves delivering quality enrichment programs using a specifically designed internal curriculum called Disguised Learning, which integrates fun and educational activities aimed at driving curiosity and creativity among students. Educators will lead and coach a team of passionate staff members to maintain a supervisory and engaging environment that promotes safety and learning. Working closely with principals and school staff, educators ensure that programs enhance the instructional experience and complement the daily school curriculum, helping bridge the gap between academic schooling and extended day learning.

An essential aspect of the job is community involvement, with educators participating in local events such as Back to School, Right Club gives back initiatives, and Field Day. These community engagements not only extend the program's positive impact but also help cultivate a sense of belonging and partnership with the schools and families served. Maintaining high safety standards through supervision, compliance with documentation, and adherence to safety protocols is critical to the role.

The position is hourly paid, with a pay range between $24 and $27 per hour, depending on experience and education. Employees are expected to start with live training on July 22nd, emphasizing the company's commitment to thorough preparation and continuous professional development. The schedule generally spans early morning hours from 6:30 am to 8:00 am and afternoon hours from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, aligning with school times to provide consistent support to students before and after school hours.

Right At School also offers a comprehensive range of benefits aimed at supporting the wellbeing and growth of their employees. These include competitive compensation, commuter benefits, access to supplemental insurance options such as short term disability and life insurance, and employee perks and discounts on hotels, car rentals, theme parks, sports events, and shopping. The company provides a 401k plan to help employees prepare for their future financially, free before and after school childcare, and abundant opportunities for career growth. Additionally, educators can access an extensive online training library with over 600 courses covering leadership, child development, and after-school programming, which also contributes to earning professional development certificates and continuing education credits. The company cherishes a fun and engaging workplace culture, ensuring that from day one, employees receive guided training experiences and are involved in curating meaningful hands-on learning experiences that integrate with the school community.
