The current opportunity is for a position starting in the Fall of the 2026-2027 school year, with an hourly pay range of $26 to $29, dependent on the candidate's education and experience. Employment is structured as a Monday to Friday role from 1 PM to 6 PM, perfect for those passionate about making a direct impact on children’s learning and development during the critical after school hours.

Additionally, founders of the program understand the importance of community presence and involvement; hence, the role includes participating in local events such as Back to School celebrations, community service through the Right Club Gives Back initiative, and school-wide activities like Field Day.

Safety and compliance are also paramount. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety standards, supervising children, and managing program documentation systematically. Ideal candidates for this opportunity bring prior supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and experience working with children, including those with unique and special needs. Formal coursework or training in child development or related fields enhances suitability for this role. Candidates should also be adept at using communication technology and familiar or willing to learn Google software tools essential for program management. Compliance with state-specific requirements such as LIVE Scan fingerprinting, First Aid/CPR certification, Mandated Reporter training, and health certificates including negative TB tests is mandatory.
