Job Description

Right At School is a leading provider of extended day enrichment programs dedicated to creating safe, engaging, and meaningful environments for children. Established over a decade ago, this company has expanded its services across 17 states and currently supports more than 35,000 students with after school, before school, and break camp programs. The primary mission of Right At School is to inspire a love of learning, support school communities, and provide parents with peace of mind by ensuring their children are cared for in a nurturing and educational setting beyond regular school hours.

As an organization, Right At School prides itself on its comprehensive and well-crafted Disguised Learning curriculum, which focuses on delivering quality enrichment experiences that promote fun, creativity, and growth in children. The company’s vision is to expand these exceptional, affordable programs to reach as many students, families, and schools as possible, reinforcing its commitment to education and community support.

The current opportunity is for a position starting in the Fall of the 2026-2027 school year, with an hourly pay range of $26 to $29, dependent on the candidate's education and experience. Employment is structured as a Monday to Friday role from 1 PM to 6 PM, perfect for those passionate about making a direct impact on children’s learning and development during the critical after school hours.

The role centers on driving the mission of Right At School by managing and delivering enrichment programs that are not only educational but also fun and safe. Successful candidates will work closely with principals, school staff, and the local community to enhance the instructional experience and foster a supportive environment for children to thrive. This position involves coaching a dedicated team of educators who share the passion for creating a supportive and engaging program atmosphere. Effective communication skills are essential for this role, as it requires interaction with school personnel, children, parents, and community members.

Additionally, founders of the program understand the importance of community presence and involvement; hence, the role includes participating in local events such as Back to School celebrations, community service through the Right Club Gives Back initiative, and school-wide activities like Field Day.

Safety and compliance are also paramount. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety standards, supervising children, and managing program documentation systematically. The organization values professionalism and requires all team members to model professional standards in all interactions.

Ideal candidates for this opportunity bring prior supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and experience working with children, including those with unique and special needs. Formal coursework or training in child development or related fields enhances suitability for this role. Candidates should also be adept at using communication technology and familiar or willing to learn Google software tools essential for program management. Compliance with state-specific requirements such as LIVE Scan fingerprinting, First Aid/CPR certification, Mandated Reporter training, and health certificates including negative TB tests is mandatory.

Right At School not only offers a fulfilling career role but also provides a comprehensive benefits package to support its employees’ health, wellness, and financial security. This makes it an attractive option for individuals who are committed to educational enrichment and community engagement in children’s lives.
