Job Description

Right At School is a leading provider of safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs. With more than a decade of experience, the company proudly serves over 35,000 students across 17 states in the United States. Right At School offers comprehensive after school, before school, and break camp programs designed to give students a place to learn, play, and grow in a supportive environment. Their mission is rooted in inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving parents peace of mind. The company's vision focuses on expanding access to exceptional and affordable programs to as many students, families, and schools as possible. Central to their success is the dedicated team of educators who deliver high-quality programming daily. These educators embody the company's values through their passion and commitment to child development in a safe and supportive setting.

The role offered by Right At School is that of an on-call Educator. This position plays a crucial part in driving the company’s mission by delivering quality enrichment programs based on Right At School’s internally developed Disguised Learning curriculum. Educators are expected to create a positive and engaging environment where children can explore topics creatively and safely. The role requires collaboration with school principals and staff members to enhance the instructional experience and maintain alignment with the wider educational environment. Additionally, educators participate in local community events like Back to School activities, Right Club gives back initiatives, and Field Day celebrations to promote the Right At School brand and foster community engagement. Managing safety standards, including proper supervision and detailed program paperwork, is an essential responsibility of the position.

This opportunity is best suited for mission-driven individuals passionate about childhood education and child safety. The pay range typically falls between $24 and $27 per hour, depending on one’s experience and education. The schedule is flexible but requires availability during specific time windows, notably from 6:30 AM to 8:10 AM and again from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Employees are expected to start by July 21st to undergo live training, which involves both online and in-person components designed to prepare educators thoroughly for success in their roles.

Right At School values growth and development, offering various professional opportunities, including access to an extensive online training library featuring over 600 courses covering leadership, child development, and after-school programming. Educators have the chance to earn professional development certificates and transferable continuing education credits. The company promotes a culture of fun and inclusion from day one, ensuring that team members are actively involved in curating hands-on learning experiences that integrate smoothly into the school day. Benefits include competitive pay, commuter benefits, supplemental insurance, 401k options, free childcare at Right At School programs, employee discounts, and much more.
