The Program Manager role at Right At School is a vital position contributing directly to the company’s mission. This role entails leadership and oversight of daily operations in the extended day program, emphasizing safety, joy, communication, compliance, and effective activity implementation. The Program Manager serves as a role model, guiding a team of staff members to meet safety and joy standards while supporting operational processes such as attendance protocols and behavior policies. This role demands ongoing coaching and fostering respectful, productive relationships within the team to address challenges promptly and maintain a positive environment.
The Program Manager is also responsible for upholding safety assurance by supporting and reporting on safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of all participants. Effective communication is key, requiring meaningful engagement with families, client partners, colleagues, and children, ensuring responsiveness and transparency. Maintaining accurate documentation for student attendance and check-ins is another crucial aspect, alongside implementing daily routines that include fitness activities and curriculum to create engaging and safe experiences. The position is based on a Monday through Friday schedule from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM, with a pay rate ranging from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, dependent on education and experience.

Job Requirements
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements
- Completion of first aid and CPR in-person training
- Cleared tuberculosis test
- Must be on site 60 percent of the time
- Completion of 1080 hours of documented supervised experience over nine months plus either CDA or 12 credits in early childhood education or child development
- OR BS/BA degree in early childhood education or child development plus 360 hours of experience with similar ages and one semester of student teaching
- Experience with working amongst competing priorities and delivering quality service to stakeholders
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs
- Coursework or training in child development or related field
- Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with adults and children
- Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
- Identify and submit proof of MMR
- Must be 20 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Exhibit role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members
- Support operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date
- Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively
- Continually coach and foster respectful relationships among staff to promptly address challenges and maintain team cohesion and productivity
- Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants
- Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building
- Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs ensuring attendance procedures are completed per company policy
- Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment
