Job Description
Right At School is a dedicated provider of before and after school extended day programs, collaborating closely with local school districts to enrich the educational experience of students beyond the traditional classroom setting. Established with the mission to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and provide families with peace of mind, Right At School brings an innovative and engaging approach to childcare and educational programming. The company is committed to building strong partnerships with schools and families to ensure that every child has access to safe, stimulating, and affordable enrichment opportunities. Right At School programs blend disguised learning activities with daily enrichment, creating an environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in the hours outside of regular school times.
As a Program Manager at Right At School, you will play a crucial role in driving the organization’s mission forward by managing the operations of local before and after school programs. This position involves overseeing safety protocols, ensuring joyful and engaging experiences, and fostering strong, supportive relationships among staff, students, families, and school partners. The role requires a passionate and dedicated individual who can model professionalism, support staff development through continual coaching, and maintain compliance with all company and licensing standards. The Program Manager is responsible for maintaining clear communication channels with families, client partners, and peers, as well as ensuring accurate documentation of student attendance and adherence to safety policies.
The position is a part-time role with a pay range of $24 to $26 per hour, depending on education and experience. The work schedule includes morning shifts from 6:15 am to 9:25 am and afternoon shifts from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This schedule aligns with regular school hours to effectively support children's needs before and after school. The ideal candidate will have experience managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality service to various stakeholders, including students, parents, and colleagues. A background in child development, special needs education, or related fields is highly valued, along with strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both children and adults.
Right At School fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment where diversity is respected and encouraged. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, pet health programs, supplemental insurance options, financial wellness programs, and childcare discounts. Employees also benefit from additional perks such as free professional memberships, employee assistance programs, and various discount opportunities. By joining Right At School as a Program Manager, you become part of a team that is passionate about making a positive impact on children’s lives, supporting families, and enhancing school communities through exceptional program delivery and a steadfast commitment to safety, joy, and learning.
