Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous dining room attendant or server experience and/or training preferred
- completion of ServeSafe course upon hire
- people-oriented individual
- excellent oral communication skills
- ability to work with diverse groups of people
- computer skills including Point-of-Sale system
- organizational and time-management skills
- ability to read, speak, write, and follow oral and written instructions

Job Duties
- Greets guests and presents them with the menu
- informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any
- suggests food and beverages to the guest
- takes food and beverage orders on order taking pads or handheld POS system
- obtains revenues, issues receipts, accepts payments
- performs cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- fills in for absent staff as needed
- punches orders on the POS machine and enters special dietary requests
- communicates with guests and assists with queries
- coordinates with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
- serves food and beverages per order course
- observes guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
- promptly responds to guest additional requests
- buses tables when guests leave
- maintains proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
- adheres to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- prepares basic cooking tasks such as salad preparation and dessert plating
- assists with stocking and maintaining dining room par stock levels and side station
- helps other restaurant areas including answering telephones and completing financial transactions for Take-Out
- closes shift on POS terminal
- performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
