Job Description

Worth Ross Management Company (WRMC) is a distinguished leader in luxury multifamily and HOA management, recognized for its commitment to excellence and high standards in residential community management. Located in Downtown San Antonio near the picturesque San Antonio River Walk, WRMC prides itself on delivering exceptional service and cultivating welcoming communities where residents feel truly at home. The company values professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering dedication to service — qualities that have established WRMC as a trusted name in luxury property management. WRMC prides itself on fostering a team environment where employees are valued as the core of its success, creating an atmosphere that supports growth, collaboration, and excellence.

Currently, WRMC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter to join the team on a part-time basis, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This role is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of a high-rise residential community situated in downtown San Antonio. The position offers an hourly wage of $15, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation and quality service. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work environment and seek a role that combines physical activity with service responsibilities.

The Porter will be responsible for supporting both interior and exterior common areas, which include lobbies, hallways, community spaces, gym, and pool areas. Maintaining these spaces in pristine condition directly impacts the residents' living experience and the overall community ambiance. The role necessitates a keen eye for detail, as the Porter will perform essential tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash and recycling removal, ensuring a clean and inviting environment at all times.

Beyond cleaning duties, the Porter will assist with groundskeeping and upkeep of outdoor areas and the building perimeter to maintain an appealing and safe community exterior. Additionally, the Porter supports valet trash and recycling services aligned with scheduled times, requiring effective time management and organizational skills. An important aspect of the role involves reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the management promptly to uphold the community's safety and operational standards.

This position not only focuses on physical upkeep but also emphasizes providing courteous and professional service to residents, guests, and vendors. The ideal candidate should possess a positive, service-oriented attitude, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced residential environment. Prior experience in porter, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or hotel/apartment maintenance is preferred, as is familiarity with cleaning equipment and light maintenance tasks.

Joining WRMC as a Porter means becoming part of a dedicated team that sets the benchmark for luxury living environments. The company’s supportive culture, combined with a clear commitment to community excellence, makes this an appealing role for candidates who thrive on responsibility and take pride in enhancing community spaces. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the quality of life of residents while developing skills applicable to a variety of property management and maintenance roles.
