The Porter role at Asset Living is integral to maintaining the high standards of their communities. This position involves supporting the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance tasks. Porters play a key role in preparing units to meet operational objectives under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. This is a hands-on role requiring regular onsite attendance to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of residential areas. Duties include cleaning, trash removal, repair work, and general upkeep of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and other communal areas. Porters respond promptly to resident and management requests and are vital in maintaining a preventive maintenance program to minimize future repair costs. This role requires adherence to key company policies and safety standards, including OSHA guidelines, and actively promotes a safe working environment. Additionally, Porters assist in unit inspections, report violations, and contribute to positive resident relations by delivering excellent customer service. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.00 and is supported by a comprehensive total rewards package including medical benefits, 401K with matching, and paid time off.
