The Pool Public Area Attendant role at Thompson Houston is a vital part of the hotel’s pool recreation team. The associate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pool deck environment, ensuring guest supplies such as towels and pool-related amenities are replenished promptly. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by providing a clean, welcoming, and well-equipped outdoor pool area where guests can relax and enjoy their time.

Job Requirements

  • Must have physical stamina to lift, carry, push and pull moderate amounts of weight
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • ability to work in different weather elements i.e heat, light rain, wind, etc
  • ability to work flexible schedule and various shifts, including but not limited to, days, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • refined verbal communication skills
  • previous experience preferred
  • hotel experience a plus

Job Duties

  • Replenish guest supplies on the pool deck area
  • perform thorough cleaning of all pool public areas
  • maintain cleanliness of pool furniture and pool area
  • restock supplies and towels
