Job Description

Old Chicago Pizza (OCP) is a well-established full-service restaurant concept with over 40 years of expertise in delivering quality craft beers, scratch-made pizzas, and American cuisine. Since opening its first location in 1976, Old Chicago has expanded to over 100 locations, creating a vibrant atmosphere where great food and excellent beer come together for memorable guest experiences. The company prides itself on sourcing fresh ingredients and maintaining high standards in every dish, reinforcing its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Comprehensive benefits, flexible scheduling, and competitive pay are part of the company's dedication to its workforce, recognizing that the most important ingredient in its success is the people behind the scenes.

This Dishwasher position at Old Chicago is available as part-time or full-time employment with a highly competitive rate of pay. The role is integral to the restaurant's back-of-house operations, focusing on maintaining a clean and efficient dish area to support kitchen performance and timely service. The Dishwasher ensures all pots, pans, kitchen utensils, and service ware are thoroughly washed, sanitized, and ready for use, following company-approved washing techniques. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and sanitation standards are crucial to keeping the kitchen running smoothly. The candidate will handle dish machine operation, manual washing tasks, maintaining chemical levels for cleaning supplies, and conducting regular equipment inspections. Flexibility in scheduling is offered to accommodate personal commitments such as school or family responsibilities, reflecting Old Chicago’s commitment to work-life balance.

Beyond washing dishes, this role requires effective teamwork and positive interaction with co-workers in both front and back of house. Advancement opportunities exist for individuals who demonstrate reliability, efficiency, and a cooperative spirit. As part of the comprehensive benefits program, employees enjoy medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, voluntary benefits, and team member discounts. Old Chicago is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a supportive work environment where diversity is valued and all team members have the opportunity to grow their careers.
